Copper Bell is an elderly female tabaxi hunter who travels to Omu in the twilight of her life to claim a hunter’s death. She is one of three venerable tabaxi hunters guided to the city by the Cat Lord, a divine being who leads the bravest tabaxi to spend their final days hunting dinosaurs and other jungle beasts.
Appearance and Personality
She has speckled ginger fur and wears a torn blue cloth over her bony shoulders—the blanket she once used to comfort her cubs when they were infants. Despite her advanced age, Copper Bell retains much of her inquisitiveness and wry humor.
Behavior and Role
Like the other tabaxi hunters in Omu, Copper Bell:
- Knows the city well but cares little for its history
- Keeps clear of the city’s shrines
- Hunts alone and avoids contact with explorers
- Stalks the city hunting dinosaurs and jungle beasts
The tabaxi hunters can potentially be persuaded to help characters, but only if offered rare weapons or hunting gear—the only items of interest to these aging warriors seeking their final glory.
