Gorvax is a firenewt warrior imprisoned by the yuan-ti in the Fane of the Night Serpent. He is held captive in one of the prisoner cells near the Oracle Pool (area 7), awaiting potential sacrifice to Dendar the Night Serpent.
Captivity
Like the other prisoners, Gorvax wears manacles on his wrists and ankles and has been stripped of his armor and weapons. He is eager to escape the temple and return to his home.
Origin and Goals
Gorvax comes from the Valley of Lost Honor, a location in Chult associated with firenewts. His primary motivation is to escape yuan-ti captivity and make his way back to the Valley of Lost Honor.
Game Statistics
Gorvax uses the firenewt warrior stat block (see Tomb of Annihilation appendix D). As a firenewt, he possesses natural abilities and combat capabilities typical of his species.
