Heel is the first mate aboard the Stirge, one of three pirate ships operating out of Jahaka Anchorage. He serves under Captain Laskilar, a flamboyant treasure hunter who prefers targeting adventurers over merchant vessels.
Role & Characteristics
As first mate, Heel is second-in-command of the Stirge and helps lead a crew of scoundrels and cutthroats. The ship’s complement includes twelve bandits (Chultan and Tethyrian), six Chultan thugs, and a sea priest of Umberlee named Caldos Hellingskorn.

Context
The Stirge operates as part of a three-ship pirate alliance based at the hidden Jahaka Anchorage, alongside the Dragonfang and Emerald Eye. All three crews maintain an alliance with Liara Portyr of Fort Beluarian, who provides intelligence on shipping movements and helps fence stolen goods. The pirates have sworn blood oaths to protect the anchorage’s secret location and attack any ships that come within visual range.
