Kura is a painter and the husband of Ekene-Afa, one of Port Nyanzaru’s seven merchant princes. He is the father of twin teenage sons, Soshen (a city guard) and Tiryk (a popular dinosaur racer). Both sons were named after Chultan rivers.
While Ekene-Afa is renowned for her past as a legendary gladiator and her current business ventures in weapons and travel gear, Kura’s role is that of an artist, providing a domestic counterpoint to his wife’s more public and martial pursuits.
