Overview
Laskilar is a pirate captain operating out of Jahaka Anchorage, commanding the vessel Stirge. He is a flamboyant, rakish NE male Tethyrian human who has grown weary of traditional piracy and now focuses on hunting adventurers to steal their hard-won treasures and magic items.
Role & Motivation
Unlike typical pirates who chase merchant vessels, Laskilar prefers to pursue adventurers across jungles and oceans rather than dig through ruins himself. He operates as a treasure hunter by proxy, allowing others to do the dangerous work of exploring tombs and ruins, then stealing their plunder. He maintains contacts with wealthy patrons in Port Nyanzaru and distant ports who pay premium prices for rare items.
