Malar is the god of the hunt worshiped by some evil weretigers in Chult.
Role in the Adventure
Malar serves as the patron deity for certain malevolent weretiger lycanthropes who hunt intruders in the Chultan jungle. These weretigers make a sport of hunting adventurers and other outsiders who come to plunder their land.
Worship and Followers
Evil weretigers who worship Malar use their ability to appear human to their advantage, posing as Chultan hunters, guides, rescuers, or explorers to lure in prey. Not all weretigers follow Malar—others continue worshiping whatever deities they revered before becoming lycanthropes.
