Role in the Adventure
Moradin appears only as a historical reference through the remains of one of his fallen clerics. He is the deity worshipped by Bravus Boulderborn, a gold dwarf cleric who was a member of the Company of the Yellow Banner.
Connection to the Tomb
Bravus Boulderborn’s skeletal remains are found in area 35B (I’jin’s Tomb) within the Tomb of the Nine Gods. The dwarf died after triggering a trap by stepping on floor tiles in the wrong sequence while attempting to solve the hieroglyphic floor puzzle that unlocks I’jin’s sarcophagus.
Physical Evidence
The skeleton lies on the floor east of the funeral barge, positioned atop a floor tile bearing the “foot” hieroglyph. The remains are clad in:
- A tattered yellow turban
- Dusty chain mail
- A bronze shield (clutched in hand)
The body can be searched for valuables, suggesting Bravus carried items or treasure when he died in the tomb.
