Razaan is the deceased mother of Princess Mwaxanaré and Prince Na, the last living descendants of Omu’s royal line. She was killed by pterafolk at some point before the adventure begins.
Family and Legacy
Razaan was part of Omu’s royal bloodline through her husband Omek (who died in a fall). Her children are:
- Princess Mwaxanaré (17 years old) - the primary heir to the fallen kingdom of Omu
- Prince Na (6 years old) - Mwaxanaré’s younger brother
Razaan’s great-grandmother-in-law was Napaka, the last ruling queen of Omu.
Significance to the Story
Though Razaan herself does not appear in the adventure, her death left her children orphaned and under the protection of the aarakocra at Kir Sabal. The aarakocra shelter the young royals until the evil in Omu can be banished, hoping to eventually restore the royal line and secure favorable positions in any renewed Chultan kingdom. This arrangement shapes the motivations of both Asharra (the aarakocra leader) and Princess Mwaxanaré, who seeks to reclaim her throne.
