Sibonseni is the chief priest of Waukeen in Port Nyanzaru, holding the title Mother of Prosperity. She is one of the city’s most influential residents after the merchant princes and enjoys tremendous support across all social classes.
Role and Influence
As the leader of the Hall of Gold temple on Mount Sibasa, Sibonseni oversees both the spiritual worship of Waukeen (goddess of trade and wealth) and the temple’s function as one of the city’s richest banks. The temple is renowned for its charitable work and civic improvement projects, which form the foundation of her widespread popularity.

Public Presence
When traveling through Port Nyanzaru’s streets, Mother Sibonseni rides in an elegant sedan chair accompanied by an entourage of drummers, singers, dancers, and temple aides. Her aides distribute fistfuls of copper coins to the poor during these processions. While these events cause traffic jams, the people of the city love her for her generosity and accessibility.
Location
The Hall of Gold sits atop Mount Sibasa, the highest point in Port Nyanzaru. The temple is famous for its golden-painted roof (not actual gold, despite local rumors) that can be seen for miles out at sea when sunlight glints off it. A wide stone bridge connects Mount Sibasa to the Grand Coliseum on Yklwazi Hill.
