Soshen is a teenage son of merchant prince Ekene-Afa and her husband Kura. He serves as a city guard in Port Nyanzaru. His twin brother is Tiryk, a popular dinosaur racer. Both brothers were named after Chultan rivers.
Soshen represents the second generation of Ekene-Afa’s successful family, having followed a path of civic service rather than commerce or entertainment like his mother and brother.
