Tahvo is a ten-year-old Chultan boy held prisoner by the yuan-ti in the Fane of the Night Serpent. He is lawful good and deeply faithful, wearing a flower garland and praying constantly to Tymora, the goddess of luck.

Captivity

Tahvo is imprisoned in the cells beneath the fane (area 8), where the yuan-ti hold prisoners until they can be sacrificed to Dendar the Night Serpent. Like all prisoners, he wears manacles on his wrists and ankles and has been stripped of equipment. He is vulnerable in combat, with only AC 10 and 2 hit points, making him a noncombatant.

Motivation

Tahvo seeks to escape the temple and return home or reach civilization. His constant prayers to Tymora suggest he maintains hope despite his dire circumstances, relying on divine favor for survival and eventual rescue.
