Overview
Thaeven the Bald is the stable master at Fort Beluarian, responsible for maintaining the Flaming Fist’s small contingent of horses in Chult’s hostile climate.
Role & Duties
Thaeven manages the fort’s stables, which house seven horses: two riding horses and five unarmored warhorses. He takes excellent care of the animals despite the challenging environmental conditions, which include Chult’s harsh climate and numerous pests that make horse care particularly difficult.
Personality
Despite his dedication to the horses’ wellbeing, Thaeven complains constantly about the impossibility of properly caring for horses in Chult’s climate. His grumbling reflects the genuine difficulty of maintaining these non-native animals in the tropical environment.
