X the Mystic’s Arcane Grimoire is a high-level spellbook found in the Tomb of the Nine Gods. The book is distinguished by having its title burned into its spine, marking it as belonging to a wizard known as X the Mystic.

The grimoire contains extremely powerful magic:
- 1d3 spells of 7th level
- 1d3 spells of 8th level
- 1d3 spells of 9th level
This makes it one of the most valuable spellbooks in the tomb, containing the highest tiers of arcane magic available.
Location
The grimoire is found in a library within the Tomb of the Nine Gods, alongside other magical texts including:
- Two hundred historical texts
- Sixty tomes of arcane lore
- Three spell scrolls (create undead, fabricate, and resurrection)
- Five other spellbooks of lower-level spells
The library also contains an arcanaloth’s possessions, including valuable horn-rimmed spectacles and a magical music box.
