Acheron Wardrobe is a magical trap disguised as a wardrobe in the Tomb of the Nine Gods. It serves as a dangerous obstacle that conjures hostile creatures from the plane of Acheron.
Description
The wardrobe’s door is decorated with a scene depicting an army of orcs clashing with an army of hobgoblins, foreshadowing the threat within.
Mechanics
When opened, the wardrobe creates a dramatic supernatural effect:
- Dust and smoke billow forth
- The air fills with the roar of battle
- A vision of Acheron appears beyond the doors—armies fighting beneath a blood-red sky with an iron cube floating like a distant moon
- Clouds of ash fly out and transform into screaming orcs
Combat Encounter
The wardrobe summons:

- 7 orcs
The summoned creatures’ bodies, armor, and weapons remain in the chamber after they are killed, suggesting they are fully materialized rather than temporary conjurations.
