Sharkbait Rock is a tidal execution site within Jahaka Anchorage used by the pirates for punishment and interrogation. Pirates access the rock via a short pier extending from the main dock area.
Purpose
The rock serves as a place of punishment for:
- Prisoners who have no value to the pirates
- Captives who refuse to divulge information
- Pirates who have seriously violated the buccaneer’s code
Execution Method
Condemned individuals are lashed to the rock where they face death by:
- Drowning when the tide rises
- Attack by sharks and other marine predators
The punishment continues until the victim either dies or becomes willing to talk, making it both an execution method and an interrogation technique.
Location
Sharkbait Rock is situated within the safe harbor of Jahaka Anchorage, accessible from the main pier (area 2) where the pirate ships dock. The pier area is characterized by slick moss and poor maintenance.
