Sharn is presented as an alternative starting location for the Tomb of Annihilation adventure. It is a city on the continent of Eberron (one of D&D’s alternate campaign settings).

Role in the Adventure

Sharn serves as one of several suggested starting points for the campaign, offering DMs flexibility to adapt the adventure to different D&D worlds. While the adventure’s default starting location is Baldur’s Gate in the Forgotten Realms, Sharn provides an option for groups playing in an Eberron-based campaign.
