The Tiryki River is a waterway in Chult that flows through the eastern jungle. It serves as a navigation route for canoe expeditions into the interior wilderness.

Geographic Features

The river provides access to notable landmarks. Approximately five days upstream by canoe from Port Nyanzaru, travelers can spot Firefinger—a distinctive stone spire—to the east of the river.

Hazards

The area around Firefinger is inhabited by “terror folk” (pterafolk), aggressive creatures who nest at the spire. These creatures are known to attack explorers on sight if spotted from their aerial vantage point.

The river is navigable by canoe and represents one of the established routes for jungle exploration. Knowledge of this river and its landmarks is common enough among experienced guides and hunters in Port Nyanzaru to appear in local rumors about Chult’s interior.
